We start with a kick-off strategy session to talk about your business and your vision. Together we define the goals, styles you like, functions you might need, and we map out your website pages. This is also the moment we discuss content and images. Your written content as well as your images must align with your goals and vision.

Then starts the build. With the branding elements, content, and images you’ve shared with me, I’ll start creating a website you can’t wait to share. This is usually a four- to six-week process from start to launch.

During the build, we’ll be in touch every week through emails and have at least three scheduled video calls.

After launching your brand new website, I will provide videos showing you how to update your website yourself. I can already promise you this: it will be really easy! And if you don’t want to make future updates yourself, don’t worry! You can always book me to do that for you.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Up to 7 pages, including a blog with up to 3 posts or a portfolio with up to 3 projects (typical pages include Home, Services, About, Blog/Portfolio, and Contact)

  • Any legal pages such as Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, using your provided content

  • Mobile responsive design

  • I’ve worked with many platforms and it is by far the only one my clients are really excited about after launching the website. They immediately feel confident to make changes and updates.

  • At first? Most probably. But I will create redirects from the old pages on your current website to the corresponding pages on the new site to minimize the impact.

    But most importantly: it will potentially benefit your SEO. I implement basic SEO best practices for each of your new web pages as part of every website package. So if you didn’t invest in SEO before, you win!

    If you currently have a Google Analytics tracking code on your website, I can move it to the new one. This way you can keep track of any performance changes.

  • If your website is not already built on Squarespace, you will need to purchase their Business Plan because I use custom CSS code to make your website look unique. Please visit their website for their current pricing : squarespace.com/pricing

  • There could be.

    • Do you have a domain name? If not you’ll need to purchase a domain name. I recommend using Squarespace Domains or GoDaddy

    • Website hosting. You will need to purchase a Squarespace hosting plan

    • (Stock) images. Some stock imagery is free, but not always. If you prefer custom imagery on your website, I’ll need to source them and purchase them separately. It’s even better to skip stock images and invite a professional photographer. Let me know if you need a referral for a custom shoot!

    • Copywriting. The words on your website should be read-worthy. Some of my clients write them themselves, while other prefer to work with a copywriter. A copywriter is not included in a custom design project.

  • After you receive the first draft of your website, you get two rounds of refinements to make changes.

    fun fact : Billie Jean (by Michael Jackson) went through 98 audiomix revisions. At the end they went for mix version no. 2. So 3 revisions should be plenty I think 😊
